HAPPY JUNE MY FRIENDS…most Schools are out for the summer and everyone is looking forward to some beach and relaxation time on the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast!!  Memorial Day Weekend saw some of the largest crowds we've seen in recent history and it's so heartwarming to see families Making Memories in our friendly piece of Paradise!

Of course beaching, boating and fishing are what most folks look forward to during their trips to our wonderful area but it's always nice to take small trips off the beach to discover some jewels in the farmland areas of Baldwin County.  Just across the Hwy 98 Bridge head to 12949 County Rd 91, Lillian, AL to Cassebaum's Produce. This farmer family owned Produce Market sells their home grown produce and is especially known for their melt in your mouth Silver King Corn.  They sell it picked fresh every day! The also sell it cut off the cob so you can enjoy this sweet corn without the cob and they occasionally have it prepared as creamed corn!  They offer various produce as it is picked such as tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, squash, zucchini, delicious cantaloupe and watermelon in season and so much more.  But they are only open from mid-May until around mid-July so this is a summer business that you don't want to miss!

May 2^nd thru 4^th is the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival at OWA in Foley, AL, this 3 day event starts with the kickoff party on the 2^nd from 4pm to 9 pm then continues Friday and Saturday from 11am to 10pm

May 3^rd thru 5^th is the NCAA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship, this well attended 3 day event begins 8am to 5 pm on Friday, 7am to 3pm on Saturday and the Championship will take placed on Sunday

May 17^th thru 19^th is the much anticipated HangOut Music Festival. This has become an annual pilgrimage for visitors around the World!  The hours are TBA per their website but generally begins around 11:00am.
